Review: Ashieda© Konjac Sponge Review

Hey!

Today I will be reviewing the Ashieda Konjac Sponge.

I have been using these for about 4 days now. So, I feel as if I can offer a pretty accurate assessment. First it comes in a small packaging, I loved that. Each one also has a string to hang it up, and let it dry. Packaging says discard after 8weeks. First: I hang mine up after each use, and they will not dry within 24hrs. Id say it will probably take two to three days for it to dry out completely.

When dry the sponge is hard. Reminds me of the feeling of a rice cake! I was really skeptical that this would work especially considering you do not need to use any facial cleanser with it.  Imagine my surprise the first time I use it and thought wow, there's a difference.  I soaked it in some hot water for about a minute the first time I used it, now I just make sure its soaked with hot water, and squeezed out. I cleansed my face with it, using small circles with even pressure. Then, I would rise it out, and soak it with cold water, repeating the process on my face. Finally rinsing and squeezing all the excess water out, before letting it dry.

When its wet, it has a gel like feel to it. It's very easy to hold, and use. However, I will probably have to use it either with my facial cleanser or before. Considering I have really bad acne. After I used it, I thought I had a flimly feeling left on my face. Though, I pat dried my face after wards, and did not notice that. I will say my face has never felt softer, just like a babies bottom! And, may of the pores aka blackheads have decreased in size. Let me tell you I have HUGE pores, and have never seen them looking this good! Overall I really love this, I think though Im going to buy the charcoal one and test that out. See if it helps with the acne?
