Review: Insta Natural Niacinamide - Vitamin B3

Happy Thursday,

It's almost Halloween! Yay! My daughter is so excited, she's gonna be a witch! I will post pictures! Well onto what this review is about!  Insta Natural Niacinamide Vitamin B3 moisturizer. The Insta Natural Vitamin C serum, and the Insta Natural youth express eye gel.

First Up: Niacinamide Moisturizer-

This is a HUGE pump action container! LOVED  that! It's chalk full of great things for your skin, such as rosehip oil, vitamin B3, and more... Everything in this product is natural and organic. That in itself is great to me, I only prefer to use natural products. Now this is ssupposed to reduce the appearance of acne, dark spots, hyper pigmentation and uneven skin tone. It does that, however I had a couple of drawbacks with it. First impression after using it, it's really thick. I actually like that about it. I pump a nickle sized amount and rub it in between my hands, then rub it on my face. That's where I have an issue. On the bottle it says you can use day or night. My advice, do not use during the day if you plan on wearing make up. It sits slightly heavy on your face, and starts out kinda greasy, and really feels oily on your face. So, I've been using it before I go to bed. Once I wake up, that feeling is gone, and my face is left feeling smooth and soft. It is marketed as a night cream, so I would continue to use it at night only, and use my other moisturizer during the day. I have noticed softer skin, better coloration in my skin, and my acne is drastically different. I have terrible acne, and this has helped quite a bit reducing the redness associated with it! It doesn't really have much of a smell to it, so for anyone with sensitive skin to fragrances that's a plus! Overall. I really like it, and will continue to use it at night.

Next: The youth express eye gel
I actually gave this to my mom, because I use another eye cream I really like, and my mother has really bad dark circles under her eyes.  This containsPlant Stem Cells, Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl 3000, Cucumber, Peptide Complex, Cucumber, Aloe, MSM & More . It is targeted for those with under eye bags, crows toes, sagging eye lids, wrinkles and fine lines. I have noticed that my moms eyes, are brighter, and tighter since using it. I asked her how she liked it, and she did say that it was easy to use, felt nice on the skin and, really helps. So, that's a plus for her. She did mention that she probably wouldn't be able to wear make up over it.. but, since my mom wears make up maybe once a month, I don't see that being a problem for her.

and Finally. My FAVOURITE of them all. The Vitamin C Serum
.This is by far my favorite thing in the world right now! I have been using Vitamin C serum for a while now, and the other company's I have. I really don't like it, it smells really bad, and its a milky color. (which is normal) But, Insta-Naturals! Holy cheeseballs! It's Orange! Here's what their product listing on amazon says: With Hyaluronic Acid, Ferulic Acid, Rosehip Oil, Seabuckthorn Oil, Plant Stem Cells, Vitamin E & More - Great For Anti-Aging & Anti-Wrinkle Facial Regimen - Helps Diminish Appearance of Fine Lines, Wrinkles, Sun Spots, Age Spots, & Skin Discoloration - Guaranteed Results

There isn't enough positive things to say about this! I am in love, It smells like grapefruit, of course that's because there is grapefruit in it! The orange coloration is due to another product in it. I use this in the morning right after cleansing my face. I feel so refreshed, afterwards. My face looks cleaner, smoother, and my skin is tighter. My face hasn't looked this good in years. Plus: each bottle is made in small batches, so they are all fresh when you buy them! Love love love. Insta-natural is one of the best companies out, there, with some of the best products! Im looking forward to receiving a few more of their products to try! so stay tuned.

Have a safe Halloween,
Lyn

Review: Dr. Song Lactic Acid Face Peel.

Hey,

I was super excited to try the Dr.Song Lactic Acid Face Peel.  This is the first time, I've ever tried a face peel. I usually just stick with masks. So, naturally I you-tubed a bunch of videos to see how/if it works. Result: It does.

Lactic Acid is one of a few peels that has many benefits for the skin. Mostly, it is to correct age spots, freckles, sun spots, skin lightening, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and fine lines.  It is 50% lactic acid, which is really good for beginners like myself.

It comes in a tempered, frosted, high quality, and durable glass bottle. The consistency is transparent, and clear. It's a gel like substance.  It's got a medicinal smell to it, nothing terrible.

Ordering from Amazon was super easy, and shipping was fast. They do offer tracking. After receiving the product.  I opened it to find a little card, that said detailed instructions on how to use the product would be provided to the email registered with amazon. I thought that was nice, until I checked my email and still have not received information. ( I may have missed this, or since because I received this free through tomoson, that's where they sent it)  Regardless, I did get instructions from them via tomoson.

According to Dr.Song, this is what you need to do:
Step 1: Cleanse the face, neck, and gently pat dry.

Step 2: Apply a small amount with a brush or cotton ball to the area and leave on as needed. Rinse product with water and pat dry after. Leave on for 1 minute for your first peel and slowly increase the time of each peel afterwards by 1-2 minutes as needed. General recommended time is 1-2 weeks between each peel. Your skin may be pink and sensitive for a few days after a peel. Please keep in mind, these are general guidelines, and everyone’s skin is different. Peel times vary from person to person, which can only be learned through experience and patience to avoid any burns. Skin patch tests are the most accurate method and minimize risk.

Precautions and Warnings

Precautions:
Keep the peel at least a quarter of an inch away from the eyes and mucus membranes.
If skin irritation occurs remove the product by neutralizing with cool water immediately and consult a physician.
Do not apply the peel more than once in a 7 day period
Do not expose your face to the sun for 24 hours before or after the application of the peel.
Do not apply the peel to the skin that has been waxed or shaved within 24 hours
When using the peel a stinging sensation may occur, this is normal

I followed their instructions. Only thing I didn't do, was I was out of cotton balls so I used some toliet paper. (It's made from cotton right?) I used two maybe dime sized amounts, you probably dont have to use that much though. I left it on for 1 minute since it was my first time. My experience. Is WOW does it ever tingle. Your face will feel itchy as well, and I did put it under my nose, so I could smell it the entire time, I probably wont do that again!  I washed it off with water just like they said. I did however end up washing my face gain with my konjac sponge, just to make sure it was all gone. I used my toner, and some moisturizer, I have some with sunscreen in it. It's important that you use sunscreen as your face will be sensitive for a couple of days My face was pink for a little bit afterwards, and Icould feel the tingly sensation only for a minute or so after I rinsed it off. So far, so good. My face color has evened out, not really noticeable enough for others to really see. I think after another 1 or 2 uses, it will really be noticeable. Over all, I really did like this, and will continue to use it! I urge others to try as well!! If you would like to order you may do so here:

Take care,
Lyn

Review: Professional Jumbo Lemon Squeezer

Hey!

OMG! I am so excited to review this, and be able to give one away!

I make a lot of things using lemons, limes, etc. One of my favorite things to make using limes is guac, or a chicken dish. I eat a lot of salmon, and lemon is its natural topping.  So,let me tell you I have tried a lot of different squeezers in the past. I think I own about 4 of them. The two I have in my kitchen drawer I really don't use. The plastic one, I don't even know where I got it, but its small made for limes. The bigger metal one I have, I literally only use to break up ice chips when they get stuck together in the bag. It's heavy, im pretty sure its rusty... Idk. I just hate it.  I always end up just using my hands. So when I got this. HOLY CHEESEBALLS, was I ever excited. It's HUGE! Light weight, beautiful and shiny! It's got a small little metal ring to hang it up. (I put all mine in a drawer) I used it last night, and it works really well. My other one, I don't have to squeeze so hard because it's heavy, but end up doing it anyway because there's only like 5 holes in the bottom. Not with this one, just one squeeze and there was so much juice. I felt like making lemonade.. Except we are having tornado weather outside right now. so, probably not a good idea.  I just can't say enough wonderful things about this!

With that being said, let me leave you with a guacamole recipe:

4-5  Jumbo Avocados
1 Anaheim pepper
1 Jalapeno
1-2 Roma tomatoes
Some cilantro
1 lime cut in half
and sea salt to taste.

Cut tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro into small pieces, mix with mashed avocado. Use one half of the lime, and sea salt to taste. This can be doubled to any amount you like. I make quite a bit, so I never need more than 1 pepper of each, but I usually use the full lime, and about a 1/2 a tablespoon of sea salt.

If you would like to purchase, you may do so below.

Enjoy,
Lyn

Review: Ashieda© Konjac Sponge Review

Hey!

Today I will be reviewing the Ashieda Konjac Sponge.

I have been using these for about 4 days now. So, I feel as if I can offer a pretty accurate assessment. First it comes in a small packaging, I loved that. Each one also has a string to hang it up, and let it dry. Packaging says discard after 8weeks. First: I hang mine up after each use, and they will not dry within 24hrs. Id say it will probably take two to three days for it to dry out completely.

When dry the sponge is hard. Reminds me of the feeling of a rice cake! I was really skeptical that this would work especially considering you do not need to use any facial cleanser with it.  Imagine my surprise the first time I use it and thought wow, there's a difference.  I soaked it in some hot water for about a minute the first time I used it, now I just make sure its soaked with hot water, and squeezed out. I cleansed my face with it, using small circles with even pressure. Then, I would rise it out, and soak it with cold water, repeating the process on my face. Finally rinsing and squeezing all the excess water out, before letting it dry.

When its wet, it has a gel like feel to it. It's very easy to hold, and use. However, I will probably have to use it either with my facial cleanser or before. Considering I have really bad acne. After I used it, I thought I had a flimly feeling left on my face. Though, I pat dried my face after wards, and did not notice that. I will say my face has never felt softer, just like a babies bottom! And, may of the pores aka blackheads have decreased in size. Let me tell you I have HUGE pores, and have never seen them looking this good! Overall I really love this, I think though Im going to buy the charcoal one and test that out. See if it helps with the acne?

Thanks.

Review: Anti-Gas, Anti-bloating, Digestive Aid - Fast Acting Pills

Hey Guys!

Today I'm reviewing the D-Gas pills, they are an anti-gas, anti-bloating and they're supposed to offer relief from pressure, bloating and discomfort.

So, I opened them up. The bottle is great, love the lid on it. I didn't take them right away, because well I wanted to wait until I had a reason to. I get pressure and bloating a lot, from some gastro intestinal issues I have. Let me tell you, don't smell these. I did, and was almost too timid to try them. I did though, and am so happy I did. They are fast acting, and though I took them with juice, I didn't get any yucky taste in my mouth if I were to burp. Which is wonderful. Within about 15min, I was discomfort free. Im in awe of how fast these really worked.

Directions say take two-three pills with water as need after meals, or at bedtime with plenty of water. I took them after a meal with some Juice, as I typically don't tend to take most pills with water, if im unsure of the taste! These have all natural ingredients, they are capsules instead of coated pills. Very nice.

If you'd like to purchase these, you may do so here:

Lyn

REVIEW + GIVEAWAY : Old Factory Candles!

Happy Friday, I have been so excited to get these since I signed up for the promotion. I've heard NOTHING but wonderful things about them already. and, I am ecstatic they came today! They are the Old Factory Candles. Set of 3 in Fall Harvest. The fall harvest set includes: Pumpkin Spice, Cranberry, and Autumn Leaves.
You can get them here. http://www.amazon.com/Candles-True-To-Scent-Hand-poured/dp/B00NR8L902/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413003610&sr=8-1&keywords=candle Additionally you can check out their facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NR8L902
Or their website at www.OldFactoryCandles.com

These are Scented, Natural Soy Wax Candles. That burn clean (yay for no black smoke), even, and true-to-scent for Hours. They also state they are Hand-poured in the USA. I lit the pumpkin spice one as soon as I got the box open. I love the little jars, and twist of lids. They are not artificially colored, so each candle is white. They do in fact burn evenly, and clear. No black smoke, even when you blow it out! Which is very nice for me, because I get migraines, and strong scents will set them off. These are not too strong, in fact I think it could have been a tad big stronger, and it would be just fine, but the scent is actually there when you burn it, not like some that just smell good, but no scent actually radiates from them. Update: I stepped away from my computer for about 10 minutes, and the candle has been burning for about 20 min now. there is barely a dent in the wax, and the scent is just strong enough now. So, it does take some time before you can really smell it.

I just wish they came in bigger jars, because these are one of the few candles that do not make me nauseated, or give me a migraine. They come with 3 2oz jars, which is really more than plenty for a couple hours of burning. Since soy candles seem to burn slightly slower than regular candles. As for the scents of each one I received. The pumpkin spice was delicious, I wanted pumpkin pie as soon as I smelled it! The cranberry smelled exactly like cranberry, as for the Autumn leaves, well I do live in Washington, and I know what Autumn smells like. It may just be me, but this one seemed to smell like freshly cut wet grass. It wasn't gross by any means, but what it reminded me of. I probably wouldn't purchase that one separately if I had the choice, but I think it fit very nicely into the fall harvest them for sure.
You may purchase these Here Current sets include:
Fall Harvest Pumpkin Spice Cranberry Autumn Leaves
Happy Holidays Christmas Tree Candy Cane Gingerbread
Winter Wonderland Hot Cocoa Roasted Chestnut First Snow
Romance Rose Petals Champagne Dark Chocolate
Fresh & Clean Lemongrass Olive Blossom Fresh Linen
Spa Day Cucumber Lemongrass Green Tea
Vacation Sea Breeze Hawaiian Lei Awapuhi
Coffee Shop Coffee Bean Hazelnut Chai Tea
Man Cave Straight Razor Leather Mahogany
High as a Kite Cannabis Incense Bag O' Cookies
New Born Baby Baby Powder Baby Shampoo First Blanket

At this time I do believe the Fall Harvest Set is sold out via amazon.

REVIEW: Surpahs Dual-S Body Fat Scale w/ 4 User Recognition

Happy Monday,

I received the Surpahs Dual-S Body Fat Scale the other day. This hands down has to be one of the neatest thing's I have ever seen!

First of all. It measures EVERYTHING. When I say everything, I mean it. In the box you get the scale, an information booklet, and 4 AAA batteries. Putting the batteries in was easy and convenient.

I would recommend reading the informational booklet, it will explain everything in detail more than I can.

For the simple fact, Ya'll don't need to know how much I weigh. I did not include pictures of it on.

The first thing you can do is set up a profile. You can add up to 4 user profiles. Just press the set button, and navigate using the up and down arrow.  It asks for your gender, age, and height. I would do this before setting it on the ground. It makes it much easier.

If you just want to take your weight, you can step on and off the scale. Make sure it is on a flat, hard surface, and no the carpet in your bedroom like I did.

Once you have your profile set. Just step on the scale, as soon as it takes your weight. Wait a couple seconds after it records your weight, and it will display 4 zeros, then measure your body fat, total body water, muscle mass, KCal (anyone know what that is?) and bone weight. Each corresponding light will light up as its displayed on the screen.  Each one will continue to display on the screen as long as your standing on the scale, and for a moment after you step off.

Over all, I am very impressed with the sleek design, and large easy to read screen of this scale. It is bright enough to see with out being over glaring, and the numbers are large enough, that someone with bad vision can see them. It is a very light scale, and smaller than others I have seen.  According to the box, the max weight of this scale is 330 lbs. This is by far the best scale I have ever owned!

Truist Skin Care update: 10/8/2014

Hi,

Sorry for the lengthy review!

So, I received a sample of Trusit Skin Care this past Saturday.  Now after immediately trying the socks (you can find my review for them Here ) I tried two of the three lotions that came with it, later that evening I used the over night cream,. The samples came in a 1.5oz bottle each. They were the overnight lotion,  strengthening serum, and sunscreen.  (I attempted to take pictures, but I think I need new camera batteries)

First one I used was the sunscreen, I apparently made a mistake you are not supposed to put the sunscreen on first! Oh well, I live in Washington and I have been sick the last few days stuck indoors, so I really haven't had a need for sunscreen. With that being said, it smells like your regular drugstore sunscreen. Nothing special there, the feeling was fine. It didn't make me itch, or breakout. This one is probably my favorite of the three samples I received.

The other two I have been using daily, the strengthening cream I put on after I wash my face in the morning, the over night cream right after I wash my face at night.

With that being said, as soon as I used them. I noticed the smell, and I couldn't place it at first. The booklet that came with it, says right away you'll notice the botanical smell. Not exactly how I would describe it. It is not a terrible smell, however after some discussion on a Facebook group one gal did mention it smelled like calamine lotion, and since I happened to have a bottle on hand I compared.

Results: The overnight cream was close, but not quite
The strengthening cream, was nearly identical however, the calamine lotion had a softer more milder scent, then the truist creme. The truist, was stronger more pungent.

The feeling of them both was much the same. I used two pumps for a nickel sized amount, and would spread it out evenly on my hands, before putting on my face. The first feeling I got was that it felt slightly greasy, and based upon what others have said they felt that it is too. For me, it feels like it is laying on top of my skin, almost like a film. While my skin is softer, and my color seems to have evened out, and somewhat brighter. I don't see much of an improvement like they suggest. They both do feel itchy, but being that I have very sensitive, acne prone,  combination skin. I didn't think too much of it. The feeling I get after a while, reminds me of when you use talcum/baby powder, or for anyone who has used powdered gloves. That feeling if your hands were sweaty before putting them on, and kinda sweaty still when you take them off. It's a little odd.

Overall: I'm going to continue using this, since it was free. I want to see if maybe my skin just needs to get used to it, or if nothing will happen. Unless something changes, I don't see myself actually purchasing this. I would like to try their soft microscrub, or cleansing cream though. I just can't justify spending that much on something I am not in love with. (Believe me, I refuse to buy my smash-box foundation at full price!) You may purchase truist skin care products on their website http://www.truistskincare.com/ I will however be purchasing those socks again... and maybe the hand ones too!

Truist skin care.

Hey!

Well. I woke up with an ear ache, and a toothache today. Thought for sure today was going to be miserable with the right side of my face hurting. Thankfully though, I got my super awesome father to agree to make his yakasoba noodles tomorrow night for dinner. Win! Anyway, I got my free samples from truist skin care in the mail today. I immediately used the socks that came with, and gave the second pair to my mom. My thoughts:

Feels cold, and kinda like a menthol sensation, possibly minty.
VERY moisturizing.soothing, and soft feeling.
I left them on for longer than 15min, and my feet started to itch, but that could have just been me.
The smell is much to be desired, but it's not terrible.
After taking them off my feet felt relaxed, and soft.
Like I stepped on a cloud!

I'm going to wait a day or so before I review the creams, just because I want to see how my skin reacts to them, I've used them all already, and so far I've noticed the smell and texture. Not the greatest, but I want to see if the texture changes depending on a few factors.

Ciao bella,
